Million dollar mistake #4
No plans. And this is not the one of ten mistakes on your way to financial freedom – it is THE major mistake people make in their lifes in general. No plans – means no goals, no goals means no interest in life, depression, sadness etc. But again – we are interested in financial part of the story, so. If you have no idea what you want and how much you want it – there is a great probability that you will never get it.
Have seen it a lot during seminars, where managers of the higher class (higher class of income) get confused in their financial dreams and desires. Usually they want more salary, but can not establish the exact amount which would satisfy their needs. When trying to name the amount, they get so confused that life looses its meaning.
It is very difficult to get your goals achieved if haven’t established them in the first place. Stating loud that you want to be a millionaire is not enough. What you need is a plan of actions, how and when you are going to start building your wealth. Savings and investments is good strategy for a start. You should not only make a plan, but also make a strategy of how will you achieve your goals.
As mentioned in my previous writings – there is nothing more effective then a good idea. So take some time, think it threw. Make that little hamster inside your head run and spin those wheels as fast as you can. Nothing generates better thoughts than thinking :)
